Connecting People, Cultures & Care — With Compassion
Welcome to Bridge Care by Amina, a community-focused service that helps individuals and families navigate essential life needs with understanding, empathy, and professionalism.
I’m Amina Juma, an interpreter and entrepreneur dedicated to helping people access healthcare, immigration, and business resources — especially those who face language or cultural barriers.

Our story
BridgeCare by Amina began with a simple belief: everyone deserves access to care, support, and understanding — no matter their language or background.
Founder Amina Juma, an entrepreneur and multilingual interpreter, saw firsthand how language barriers could create fear and confusion for immigrants navigating healthcare, legal forms, or government systems. So, she decided to build something that could truly bridge those gaps — one person, one conversation at a time.
What started as a small effort to help neighbors fill out forms and attend medical appointments has now grown into a trusted community service in Grand Rapids, Michigan, connecting people to resources across the U.S.
Bridge Care by Amina is grounded in compassion, confidentiality, and cultural respect.
We believe in serving people with dignity — whether it’s interpreting at a doctor’s visit, guiding someone through an immigration application, or helping a small business owner bring their ideas to life online. She also teaches and tutors the French language to English speakers and English to non-English speakers.

Our history
Hi, I’m Amina Juma, founder of BridgeCare by Amina.
With years of healthcare experience and four years of professional medical interpretation experience, I’ve learned how powerful communication can be in helping people feel safe and supported.
I speak English, Swahili, French, Kinyarwanda, and Kirundi, and I use these languages to help clients bridge the gap between systems, services, and understanding.
I’m also the founder of Amina Hijab Fashion, a modest fashion business built on community and empowerment. Through both my businesses, I aim to serve with care — whether that’s helping someone prepare for their immigration interview or assisting a woman in finding confidence in her style.
Bridge Care isn’t just a service — it’s a bridge to opportunity, understanding, and hope.
